Zambia is in Central Africa and is a land-locked country. Although a poor nation, tourism is really starting to become popular here and hence the economy is improving as tourists discover the amazing scenery and safari opportunities which Zambia offers.
Flights from South Africa to Zambia are available with Air Zambia, South African Airways and British Airways. All flights leave from Johannesburg and you can fly to Livingstone, Lusaka or Victoria Falls.
One of Zambia’s most visited destinations is Victoria Falls, which it shares with neighbouring country Zimbabwe, though unlike Zimbabwe, Zambia is a very stable country, all of which is perfectly safe to visit. However, it’s commonly held that the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls is the more impressive of the two, and this part of the country is usually safe, plus travelling between the two is quite straightforward.
