In Tanzania, you can also explore the popular Safari Parks. Each Safari park has its own characteristics and specialty. The unique charm of landscapes and wild life populace differs park to park. If you don’t prefer the wild life or the safari experience, you also have an option of Zanzibar Island in Tanzania. This Island is placed on the east coast and is having a great historic importance as it was the main link of trade route between Arabia, Europe and Africa. It was a junction for slaves and spices. Stone Town, the capital of Zanzibar is also of a great attraction to tourists because of its special narrow and old streets. The old markets and the romantic and beautiful beaches are also nice to watch if you are to spend just one day.
The village of Chefchawen is also the place to have for one day outing in Africa. It is located in Morocco near Tangier. The place is a great witness of magical landscape and interesting activities. If you are based in Ghana and you have just a day to spend then Larabanga is a nice place to visit. It is situated at a mere 2.5 km distance from the Mole National Park. The old Mosque is considered to be a holy and pilgrimage place and the local people belives that it ts constructed by God.
If you are anywhere near to Senegal then you can choose Goree Islands for your one day picnic. Goree Island is the hottest tourist destination in Senegal. Previously it was the centre of slave trade in West Africa. The Maisondes, Esclaves, and the Slave house are the places to watch here. Other attractions include the Castle of Saint Michael, the historical museum and the Fort Nausseau.
